Time for success, new Watchlab kiosk at Brentcross

sddretail have worked with Watchlab having designed and a manufactured a new kiosk recently installed at the Brent Cross Shopping Centre. The kiosk incorporates the signature branding of the client and showcases the quality of the kiosk complimenting the clients products and the centres surrondings. Both the client and the shopping centre are extremely pleased with the result and are looking forward to a busy period ahead. sddretail wish them every success and look forward to working with them in the future.

New RMU's at Crystal Peaks, Sheffield

SddRetail are pleased with the newly installed RMU’s at Crystal Peak Shopping Centre, Sheffield.

Working with Cushman and Wakefield, the Duo RMU’s were chosen as the design complimented the requirements of the centre. The RMU reduces sightline issues, with low level display walls, and slatwall panels which further enhance the options for merchandising products on the RMU.

Glitz and Glam a new bespoke Kiosk

sddRetail worked closely with Daniel Wilkinson owner of Glitz and Glam cosmetic and beauty kiosk for Crystal Peaks Shopping Centre, Sheffield. Having traded from an RMU successfully for many years, Daniel was looking for a bespoke kiosk to merchandise products such as hair extensions and other beauty products.

The kiosk manufactured, successfully shows the products and company branding and both the owner and the centre management are extremely pleased. with the end product and are confident they will continue to trade well with an excellent source of income.

Mobile Phone kiosk a success in Scotland

Following Revive's first mobile phone kiosk that sdd designed, manufactured and installed in one of Glasgow's premier shopping centres, the huge success has allowed them to continue their development of 2 further kiosks in malls in Glasgow and Edinburgh.

Developing the original design, the Sdd team have worked closely with the client to meet their requirements and are confident that the new kiosks will be just as successful as the orginial and look forward to seeing more units in malls all over the UK .

The revised Cubis RMU makes its London premiere

The revised Cubis RMU has recently been installed in shopping malls in London, proving a great success.

The RMU design maximises display space and utilises all available room internally for storage. The til cupboard remains a seperate entity and can be used in isolation as a free standing point of sale unit, useful for maximising income.

The clean lines and minimalist design ensure merchandise can be beautifully displayed, with its low level proportions ensuring sight lines are retained.

Next Generation RMU's now available

In response to tenant feedback in shopping malls and client requests we have been working on a number of new RMU's. Our next generation are practical, cost effective and stylish. They offer flexible visual merchandising, maximise storage, will suit a variety of tenants, and are mindful of sight line concerns in malls.

The RMU's are aggressively priced with no deterioration in the build quality or cutting edge design for which sddRetail are renowned. 20 Rail RMU's for Russian Malls

Retail Profile Russia ordered 20 Rail RMU's which were recently shipped to Russia for installation in shopping malls around the country.

The flexibility of the Rail RMU allows it to be positioned in numerous locations. It is equally aesthetic and functional against ballustrades on upper mall levels, alongside walls or infront of empty retail units, reaching shoppers in all areas.

There are various Rail designs that would suit most shopping malls, Retail Profile Russia worked with our designers on this version to suit their tenants and shopping malls and we sure they will be a great success.

Al Ghurair Mall New RMU's

After the successful installation of 2 Non Lume RMU's in 2010 sddRetail were asked to provide a similar unit, with a difference.

A new header and low level shelving was added to the originial design to suit the needs of a new tenant, but not detract from the original aesthetic.

We were delighted with the outcome of the 'retro fit' solution and hope the new tenants enjoy the unit for years to come.

Mobile phone kiosk shines in Glasgow

Recently installed in one of Scotland's premier Malls, the Tetra Kiosk features illuminated shelving and mirrored laminate to create a very functional and striking design.

The modules can be rotated to change the look and orientation of the displays.

Elegant New Kiosk – The Mall Luton

Elegant by name Elegant by design. sddRetail have designed and manufactured a purpose built kiosk for the Mall Luton.

Manufactured with Class 1 FR materials and laminate to match existing RMU's this units compliments the Mall. The unit includes large lockable storage cupboards in the base to store stock, and with 8 led side facing lights and 14 spot lights the merchandise is clearly visisble to customers.

With 3 levels of shelving to display merchandise and standards in the columns for merchandise to hang from, there is abundant space for show case tenants merchandise.

Moda Mall take delivery of new LUME RMU's. sddRetail are thrilled to have installed five new LUME RMU's in Bahrain's premier mall- Moda Mall.

The Lume RMU comes with a tiered display and integrated lighting for shelf illumination. The design is sight line friendly without any physical restrictions at eye level. A large storage drawer in the base provides most of the lockable storage. A cash til cupboard has further lockable storage and houses the electrics.

15 new RMU's have been designed, manufactured and installed in Russian shopping malls. sddRetail worked closely with Retail Profile on the RMU design to meet the needs of the Russian malls and traders; who have given many postitive comments about the RMU's, one comment highlighted the success of the RMU's from a mall staff member " Its difficult to take a clear photo of the new RMU's because there are so many shoppers around them"

Affordable glass-sided Kiosk

Kiosks continue to be a growing part of our business and with ever changing and evolving environments, our designers are rising to the challenges. This month has seen requests as diverse as F & B Kiosks for a Safari Park in the Middle East and semi external Kiosks for the UK Market. 

This recent design is ideally suited to environments where limited protection from the elements is provided by an existing roof structure. With developers taking advantage of what would otherwise be an entirely open air, pedestrianised street, the addition of an architectural glazed roof (Cabot Circus, Bristol and Victoria Square in Belfast to name two) can create opportunities for affordable leasing for small scale tenants. Both external RMU’s and small Kiosks can boost a Malls Commercialisation and Assets accordingly.  

By affording limited protection from wind and horizontal rain (typically associated with our English summers!) This little kiosk will win over many tenants that would otherwise find these locations just a little too challenging.  

The design is best described as minimalist! A simple powder coated aluminium frame is shrouded with point fixed glass. The long elevations are completely open and secured at night with security sheets. The glazed ends would naturally face the prevailing weather and would provide an excellent blank canvas for clever graphics that could be applied directly to the inside glass pane.

RECON 2010 A Success Story

sddRetail had a successful show at the RECON Mena 2010 convention with Becker Group, joint members of the GES Global Network.

The venue, our stand location and the attendee mix gave us a fantastic opportunity to get our message across.

The Traditional Souk RMU and our Retail Cart certainly turned heads and we are thrilled with the responses we've received.
